Grandma left for Hong Kong yesterday morning, but during her last week here we took her to the Bavarian Grill Haus at Mt Tamborine to experience German food, something she's apparently never tried before. Apart from the scrumptious food, German beers and appropriately Deutsch store design and decorations, it was predominantly the leaveless trees and gloominess of the weather that really allowed us to feel transported to Germany. Overall, it was a fun experience, and I can't wait for our next visit!
